Another weekend of amazing art in York Region. If you missed this past weekend’s Black Party at Assembly Park in Vaughan, you missed an incredible kick-off to the outdoor season.
From delightful eats to soothing tunes and entertainment the Block Party definitely had something for everyone.
In addition to the food and the beautiful weather, the art was truly something to talk about, as York Region Arts Council activated the space with so many great artists.
We had the opportunity to witness an impressive array of artists exhibiting their work this weekend, including Daniel Gray, Alyssa Persad, Mark Viola, Dawn Dreams, Jessica Chaberski, and Talynka Drescher. Each artist has a unique and inspiring story behind their artwork.
Finally, we couldn’t forget the music which provided the perfect backdrop to the whole event.
All in all, it was an unforgettable experience, and we’re already looking forward to next year’s Assembly Block Party.
