Culture Days is a national celebration of arts, culture and heritage, taking place place from September 20 to October 13, 2024.
in 2023, The City of Vaughan was selected as a Festival Hub for ON Culture Days. This was a unique opportunity to continue celebrating culture with all residents in Vaughan.
Highlights from Vaughan Culture Days 2023:
Over 70 events took place in Vaughan for Culture Days 2023.
- In 2023, Vaughan ranked 8th nationwide, and 5th among Mid-Size Cities, for the number of events.
- In 2023, two Vaughan events received the Spotlight Recognition Program in the following categories:
- Best in person event: Dance Together Festival York Region
Organized by Dance Together Festival at Assembly Park. - The Warrant Garrett Inclusive Programming Award: Daniel’s Café

Now, looking ahead to the 2024 Culture Days, Vaughan has once again been selected to be a Culture Days Hub! The City of Vaughan is opening a Call to Artists to participate in the Culture Days hub celebration!
