Classic Albums Live and its roster of A-list musicians from across the country will be performing Aretha Franklin’s Aretha’s Gold exactly as you remember hearing it, note for note, cut for cut, at the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts on Friday, October 21 at 8 p.m.
Aretha Franklin recorded 112 charted singles on Billboard, including 77 Hot 100 entries, 17 top-ten pop singles, 100 R&B entries, and 20 number-one R&B singles.
Franklin is one of the best-selling music artists of all time, having sold more than 75 million records worldwide. Aretha’s Gold is a greatest hits album, released in 1969. With 14 hit songs, including Respect, A Natural Woman, Chain of Fools and Since You’ve Been Gone.
