Summer Saturdays at ClearWater Farm

Join us at the farm to explore nature, eat and drink well, shop our local artisan and farmers market, have the whole family learning together with our art in nature programs or flex your mental health muscle in the fresh air. Yoga at the Manor: Sun Salutations
Hillary House and Koffler Museum of Medicine- 15372 Yonge Street, Aurora

As the sun shines through trees, we will practice and move to a series of yoga postures commonly known as Sun Salutations. This set sequence of postures dates back more than 2,500 years to a time when ancient cultures revered the sun. Salutations are believed to have been regarded as a literal salute to sunrise and were perceived to ready the body for all that would happen during daylight. Please bring your own mat. Join the Town of Georgina, some of our farmers and their local partners on Aug. 20 for Field to Table. Each stop on this self-guided tour will be offering unique experiences where you can learn about farming, take tours and taste food made with fresh products.

Taste of Ireland at Canada’s Wonderland

The flavours and spirited culture of the Emerald Isle will arrive at Canada’s Wonderland for the new Taste of Ireland food festival! Kick up your heels with lively street entertainment, traditional Celtic music and dancers while savoring hearty Irish fare like Guinness BBQ Pork Ribs, Irish Shepard’s Pie and Irish Whiskey Glazed Beef Skewers. Every third Sunday of the month is Family Sunday at the McMichael. Join us all day long for drop-in hands-on art workshops, interactive tours and storytelling circles created just for families.
