Join Us for First Night – A New Year’s Eve Celebration
Come together for a family friendly New Year’s countdown in downtown Richmond Hill!
Show off your dance moves at our outdoor dance party in the Glow Lounge; try a game of human foosball or hockey in the outdoor arena in the Game Zone; take part in “Rockin’ Around the Clock” themed activities and contests; enjoy live entertainment and delicious treats from our food vendors. All this excitement and more will help you celebrate the last day of 2022!
The best part about First Night… the early countdown starting at 8:45 p.m.! This is perfect for little ones that can’t quite make it to midnight.
All ages are welcome. Reserve your seats for a 7:30 p.m. performance by Multi-Platinum, Juno nominated Canadian pop singer-songwriter Elijah Woods.

Bring the whole family to Memorial Park on New Year’s Eve to close out the year with a bang! Join your neighbours on December 31 as we ring in the New Year with an exciting evening of exceptional entertainment that will light up the main stage and free hot beverages (while supplies last) that will keep you warm while you watch our largest fireworks display of the year! Parking is available in nearby parking lots at the Leisure Centre and Across from Latcham Hall. The event is dependent on good weather conditions. In the event Mother Nature does not cooperate, the event may be cancelled or postponed.
