The restaurant was started in Vancouver, 1995, and it came to Toronto in 2005 as “Thai Basil”, created by Chef Prasert who has over 20 years experience in mastering authentic Thai cuisine. Our menu displays a full variety of classic dishes and original street food from Thailand. Each item is made fresh upon order. Our ingredients, such as special herbs and sauces, are imported straight from Thailand daily. The atmosphere was created to match. Our interior is inspired by the 1999 drama “Anna and the King”, with artisanal sculptures, artwork and custom decor imported from Thailand.
